I Coach Because...

Hello all and welcome along to my blog.
This will primarily be full of training exercises and tips you can use for training your horse and training yourself! However, I thought it might be useful for you all to understand why I coach!
So here goes,
I coach because…
I thrive on the success of others, I thrive on helping others to achieve their goals, I thrive on the passion which runs through the blood of every single person in the Equestrian World. The passion which sees us getting soaked, freezing, and covered in mud sorting out our horses, whilst they are oblivious in their waterproof, thermal lined, head to toe rug. What a passion it is. A passion which should be fuelled and encouraged. There’s no denying we are not involved in the safest of sports and we all know horses are unpredictable! And, let’s not even start on their determination to not stick to plans (losing a shoe the morning of a fun ride, hearing the word championship and going lame?!). So, it’s not really a surprise when I say: We all lose our mojo, our confidence, our passion. Sometimes.
I coach because...
I believe you can do it, I believe in inspiring you to pursue your passion and, I believe in enabling you to achieve your goals. I believe in releasing your inner badass, your potential and maximising your performance. And, remember your performance is completely personal to you, it can be anything from getting back on a horse after a fall, to competing at the Horse Of the Year Show. Whatever your goal- I want you to achieve it.
So, I suppose I simply coach because I care.
My coaching ethos:
‘Everybody should be given the opportunity, the skills and the mind-set to achieve their goals. Everybody should be given a process which they love, they enjoy and trust. Everybody should leave that arena positive, smiling and ready to kick on.’
I hope that gives you an insight into why I’m here. Next month I will be posting a training blog- there will be a poll on my Facebook page so you can vote what area the training will cover!
Until next time,
Sian
