This summer I've seen an increase in my confidence when jumping and SPCoaching has contributed to this- Thankyou Sian!
Earlier this year whilst I was at home browsing Facebook I saw photos Sian had posted jumping her horse Corillo over the water tray at Curborough Equestrian, feeling inspired I though it would be something to try in our upcoming lesson and Sian was happy to oblige. I hadn't anticipated how easy Sian had made jumping it look and, when I realised just how wide the tray was and that my horse Penny was wary of even just trotting past it- I didn't think we'd have much chance of achieving our goal! Undeterred Sian persuaded Penny to walk over it and by the end of the lesson we were happily popping over it! I was so proud and it made me realise we can tackle scarier fences.
In the summer I attended a local camp where Sian was instructing and had two fab flatwork lessons which really helped me focus on our rhythm, this has helped me enormously with our showjumping and, apart from sounding daft, whilst counting out loud as I go round I have really noticed an improvement.
Sian has also helped me master my position when riding turns by

- as well as being hilarious this works a treat ensuring my upper body is in the correct place!
I love my lessons with Sian, she knows I'm a scaredy cat and that I need a firm but fair kick up the bum to achieve my goals. She's perfected that kick so that I always come away proud of what we've achieved!
